To maximize the portability of BIP 39 across different spoken languages does it make sense to have the inverse of mnemonic-new? A quick look at the most recent posting at https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/68605/how-to-generate-a-valid-hash-for-a-bip39-seed-phrase shows this can be accomplished. Additionally, the Electrum Standard used by Monero is invertible.

I'm trying to prove to myself that I understand how bip39 seed phrases work... I'm doing most of this in a spreadsheet because I thought it would be easier but I'm having trouble with the checksum...
