@evoskuil I understand that it doesn't make sense to support threshold signatures without providing at least one implementation. I think you are right that "internal" support can be a thin wrapper over "external" support plus one or more threshold signature implementations. I made one large omission in the specification for bx input-sign-partial and bx sign-threshold. When data is put into INTERMEDIATES_PUB to be passed to other key share holders, that data must be signed to prevent tampering. This means these two functions also need to know a private key for the caller and a public key for each of the other key share holders. I will think about how to get these parameters in and make a suggestion later.
