With Dash governance, 45% of the block seignorage goes to miner, 45% goes to master nodes (~4500), and 10% goes to the Treasury (released to Dash addresses of masternode approved projects, per Dash governance). Dash was originally a fork of Litecoin, and was afterwards merged with bitcoin-core. The latest Dash release ( v.0.12.3.2 - https://github.com/dashpay just a few weeks old) indicates it was forked from Bitcoin. I believe, the 1st objective should be to get libbitcoin to interoperate with the latest Dash Core full node, signed binaries are at https://www.dash.org/wallets/. Guessing @evoskuil, @neillm, and @narodnik will be the ones to make a technical risk assessment if this idea is worth pursuing.
