Hi Steve. There is an inverse relationship between block size and utility threshold. However there is also an inverse relationship between block size and miner and merchant anonymity. Block size increases that are big enough to have a material impact on utility threshold seem likely to have a materially adverse impact on security as well. The block size has been "changed" (i.e. in the context of new coins). I try to avoid telling people what they should do 🙂.
