@vdeurzen The boost error building version3 is probably because of the gcc version. gcc-5 should be used, as gcc-8 can't compile that version of boost without warnings resulting in errors. If you have gcc-5 installed on your system, prefix the install.sh with CC=gcc-5 CXX=g++-5
