@evoskuil question, what exactly does address_database index over? The code in the block_chain::fetch_history that invokes the address_database and then translates address_database's response into the data format that the history_fetch_handler receives, I don't understand it so it's here https://github.com/libbitcoin/libbitcoin-blockchain/blob/master/src/interface/block_chain.cpp#L1538 :
