I like the conspiracy aspect. This seems like it could be interpreted as: "Your unfinished code isn't perfect yet and while you told me that 10+ times, it wasn't what I wanted to hear ... so if you knew that there are bugs and didn't want me to find them, legal action may follow for what you said"
