I’m particularly dismayed by comments recently made to me by @risknerd. I’m publishing those comments in full here now: “the bip141 issue is larger than I thought. if it is not larger than you knew already then we should probably have a talk before I take the next steps on this. I'd like to know if you were discouraging me from looking into this because you knew what I would find. be honest.” “one might also conclude that you made a showing of particular dismay at my development effort around the config file mechanism because you knew what I would discover upon introducing my change to that existing mechanism. I will elaborate in detail if you don't already know what I'm talking about. if you knew these things in advance and your knowledge motivated your hostility toward me then it leads next to some very challenging questions, for which you may need a lawyer. I'm not trying to cause any problems for you, truly. if my efforts to help debug and finish v4 have inadvertently led me to uncover some problems that you have already created for yourself, legal problems in particular, then obviously I don't wish to add to those problems in any way. I have some ideas for how I would recommend that you handle this situation, depending upon what the facts are and how you choose to reply.” I prefer all discussion be public and my specific critiques of his approach have been made publicly, on GitHub and Slack.

I think I’m lacking context. Why would you need a lawyer for anything and what is the problem ?
