I don't think so. They look cosistent. Only for readability. I have looked also on the libbitcoin style guide. Of course 80 characters is stupid for XML but with the "pretty print for attributes" you can read the file from top to down without horizontal scroll. sometimes you will need to scroll for values, but at least you can see all attributes without horizontal scrolling.
