@pmienk Since I am in the middle of it, I don’t mind making a small PR just to address this for the index method. We can then review it if it makes sense to make the change.

Please don’t add guards to the various database methods, these are intentionally unguarded.

OK. I have left them as they were. Just added the DEBUG_ONLY wrapper around hash parameter to unindex as you commented on the PR.
