That is a fascinating question @narodnik and very difficult for me to answer. But I'll try. I would, in my naive understanding, love to see more individual/home miners (probably a fantasy) and more use of btc for trading (again, probably a fantasy, given all the speculation around)

I guess I am still only thinking of the technology. But privacy and fungibility are probably needed as badly as they ever were. I haven't looked into the dark wallet work this community is doing, but I was curious what people think of the wasabi wallet and the chaum mixers approach they have taken.
