@vdeurzen The fees method isn't returning any property of the tx like you're expecting. I'm not quite following what you're doing, but I don't see how you can create a tx without setting all inputs (which have values attached to them already, since they are previous outputs) and all outputs (which you set the value on). Any mismatch from your construction using those inputs and your outputs is the fee.
