I somewhat regularly test hundreds and thousands of connections. It's been a while since I've tested v3 properly, but see no indication that it would stop after doing a quick hacked together test earlier (300 clients) while subscribing. I think I'd have to have a test setup more similar to yours to have a better idea of what's going on. There's pretty much nothing other than shutdown that would stop the publication on the subscribe tx/block services
