How many governments have survived the test of time with 90% thresholds in legislatures? Nothing gets done. A constitutional amendment requires 3/4 of the States to approve. Albeit, cryptos are about opt-in versus being forced-in. A 90% consensus threshold by BTC could make it a technological dinosaur to cryptos that are slightly more agile with their governance.
