No problem, good luck. I think libbitcoin-client and libbitcoin-system is much simpler to use from Qt (and more designed for usage like that). bx is a great tool to see if you can get the results you want, so running the command line program may help you find what you need -- then you can check the code to see what calls it makes and incorporate that into your own code.
