You’ll need to install full xcode it seems :) Also, since you are using brew. Which version of boost is brew installing for you? Please make sure that it matches the version required by install.sh, i.e. 1.62.0 https://github.com/libbitcoin/libbitcoin-system/blob/master/install.sh#L83

brew installs boost 1.73.0

You might run into problems down the road. Try to get the same version as specified in install.sh to avoid surprises later

I think installing xcode will fix you compiler issue too. On my mac, clang++ -v says
