Well, thing is, what if there is no network connectivity when you launch the node. I see what you mean however for a daemon/background service type setup, indeed you *want* it to continue infinitely albeit really slow, if connectivity fails. How do I make the full_node do that... if startup fails I just destroy the full_node and create a new one to .start()&.run(), with ever incrementing delays, until it eventually succeeds?

The maximum time may be in terms of years, I'm not sure. But if so it seems more than sufficient.

Otherwise stop (not destroy) the node and restart it.
