Is there any interest in a weekly developer status call/discussion to keep everyone up to date and increasing collaboration? I know I would benefit from regular communication and synchronization of efforts. Let me know if you're interested and if so, what time(s) [and timezones] work best for you.

I'd love that and always wanted to have such calls! Dunno how much bandwidth I have, but I'd love to help build a community and take small stabs at some minor tasks
evoskuil20:46
any day, noon-midnight PT is best
pmienk20:47
@neillm, any interest and if so preference?
neillm20:49
Definitely. Timing may be tricky, but depending on when, evening ET would probably work best. Maybe early evening (i.e at/after 5pm)
pmienk20:57
Looks like we're dealing with +1, -5 and -8 timezones. 9 hour swing. so if @jungly is up for a morning meeting 19:00 GMT-8 is 22:00 GMT-5 is 6:00 GMT+1 or 20:00 GMT-8 is 23:00 GMT-5 is 7:00 GMT+1 looks like the most rational without any other input. If either of these works for everyone I say we pick a day of the week. Otherwise, open to suggestions

corrected to 24 instead of 12 hour clocks for clarity

How about 2 or 3pm PT?

Late night is much better than early morning :)

Good call! I was taking @neillm’s time as PT for some reason. 3pm PST, 6pm EST and 9pm CET sounds like it would work for everyone. Best day of the week?
jungly11:52
3pm PST will be midnight CET. Still doable. Let's kick this off and see how it goes. Thursdays?
neillm15:24
I think Thursday at 6pm EST works for me!

Sounds like we've got a date and time. Approximately 25 hours from now we'll try this out.

since slack doesnlt do a/v for channels unless we pay for it, figured zoom was an available alternative. if we want to go straight text, then I'll add another slack channel
neillm22:38
Ok, yeah, zoom or Jitsi works for me
