Finished up the work on the address pool. There's always more that could be done, but we're clocking in stable connection creation from the address pool at 5-8 connections per second depending on config, up to thousands of connections. The upper bound seems to be available hosts/ports. So prob. good enough for any scenario imaginable for a long time.
