The most significant thing to notice overall is that all cost trendlines now continue to have a negative slope from inception to present, whereas without the witness data that trend was reversing. The reason for the reversal was that blocks were getting smaller without the witness data. The graphs clearly show that the more data that is packed into each block, the less average time per byte is spent on total processing. This implies that operations are constant time and that block overhead is less per byte as blocks are bigger.
