Now that we've got full archive population and confirmation of constant time, I've moved on to populating the validation/confirmation metadata tables. I created command line options in bn to scan through all blocks and all transactions while performing the store write queries necessary to set all validation and confirmation states, and to perform the read queries necessary to verify block confirmability (outputs confirmed and not spent). The validation read/write queries may run concurrently, but confirmation states must be set sequentially. This is the only aspect of node sync that is necessarily sequential. So the most important measures are checking for confirmability and setting confirmed. Set end to end these queries for every block set a minimum sync time for the node.
