Shutting down before complete implies that index data spread across tables must be read from SSD, though that is a small fraction of the overall store. This shows up as 100% SSD read, which suppresses network throughput until sufficient indexing is populated in RAM. This only takes a couple minutes. It can be seen here coming to an end.
