I took most of the day to work off some code debt, just merged. The blocks-first and headers-first chasers are big, consensus critical, and about 95% identical. So I constructed an intermediate chaser templated abstract base class, templated on block vs. header. This reduced the two chasers to only unique functionality and isolated all chain organization code into the one. Blocks first is retained only for legacy channels which really don't exist anymore, but important for the configurable p2p and consensus protocol leveling feature. Appears to be working well, as before the change.
