The use of undersized store file allocations, to force remapping, as a simulation of snapshotting, works as expected. With an allocation of 1/4 of total expected file sizes, and 10% growth increments, memory allocation during concurrent block download fluctuates around 30% (256gb machine) with periodic flushes to disk slightly impacting download rate, but overall download rate on 200 channels totally saturates bandwidth about 99% of the time.
