1024 threads configured with 1024 channels, connection-batched 5 at a time hums along just fine without a noticeable difference in resource consumption or speed (limited by 1gbps bandwidth). The result is a reduction in average per-channel download rate and/or a lower percentage of configured connections able to keep pace. For example, this configuration is holding at 1gbps with 250 channels connected and an average download rate of 4,000kbps.
