I didn't believe it. I attached the debugger and stepped through the new code to make sure it was executing. This will remain constant for 1.5 hours and complete, since we are randomly downloading blocks across the chain and with 150 peers or so, the pattern remains almost perfectly constant. So basically, we are hashing and indexing 85 BILLION outputs (all of them) at a total cost of 10% additional CPU and the necessary storage cost of 109GB.
