The machine is old, so no AVX512 (which will cut the two Merkle roots per block in half) and no SHANI (which will cut most sha256 by 80%). SHANI is also not yet integrated. The Merkle computations are presently only around 0.75% of the run, but sha256 is about 10%. That's are the only material optimizations that remain in the checkpoint/milestone sync realm.
