The optimal node is maximal disorder, which implies some necessary level of order. The chasers exist to impose this order, and in working with this model over the past few months its become apparent that it is ideally suited for imposing the minimal level of order required while not imposing unnecessary costs to achieve it. But in order to avoid the inevitable race conditions certain general implementation rules have become apparent. These conceptually reduce to ensuring ownership over the several different aspects of ordering, while preserving the ability to provide the minimal necessary order between them.
