#6 we don't wait until all are complete, we will validate concurrently with parallel downloading and confirm concurrently with validation and downloading - as applicable. We will likely wait until complete for lower capacity machines, as otherwise they can get into mmap thrashing. But the big box handles all three processes concurrently quite well.
