@pmienk today updated the build scripts (install.sh) to pull from latest libsecp256k1 in the origin repo, as we are able now to phase out our versioning branch (they now version it). This should be a nice performance boost for validation, since the version we've been using is 3 years old. I got a second mini box and today installed Ubuntu latest. I pulled down a build script and completed and started up just fine. However it is stalling frequently, which I have not seen over the past year in the msvc build. Also the events.log is created but not populated. So have to track those down. Otherwise everything appears to be great, and speed looks impressive.
