This is where SNANI and less-than-three-year-old copy of libsecp256k1 would provide some benefit, could be significant. Will get on updating that NuGet build with libsecp latest, but SHANI is on the back burner. Taking volunteers 🙂.

fyi, i think this would be useful for you guys, as well: https://github.com/bitcoin-core/secp256k1/issues/702 #702 is something im planning to pick up early 2025 and work on, would be happy to help with SHANI stuff here a) for my own benefit to get hands on and learn and b) to dogfood the implementation in libsecp256k1 with a real use case

Also, WRT Delving, if you scroll back here in General you can see that yesterday I commented many of the Delving comments. I’m personally avoiding getting into a protracted broader discussion about design and differences with Core at this point. At some point I’d love to do that, but I know it will take too much focus away from things getting done here. If you would like to ask questions here and translate to others that’s fine and we’re happy to support it. Your initial observations are generally sound.

awesome, thanks for the pointers re: sha, will take a look! also WRT to delving, i totally understand. these discussions can take a lot of effort. from my side, im simply trying to avoid needing to be in all the chat rooms following all the discussions, so would rather have it one place in the public sphere. like i said on delving, in the short term im happy to have discussions here to plug my gaps, and then translate it back to delving; just be charitable if i fuck up the explanation, its certainly not malicious 😄

No worries, it's not simple stuff, and so very different than what people are familiar with!
