So a 50% cut in cost of the main APIs would reduce it to 3 hours. However it's also worth considering that there will be about 40% more CPU available once downloads complete, so it should beat that time. The balance between validation and download can be tuned by adjusting the validator thread priority (configurable). A higher priority ensures that validation doesn't get very far ahead of download, but completion total should remain about the same since CPU will be fully utilized either way.
