I completed the confirmation stage, following the end of the validation stage, and overlaid the graphs. Total confirmation time was 1.3 hours (this still requires optimization). So the total time is download/validation (concurrent) of 4.9 hours plus confirmation of 1.3 hours, so 6.2 hours total download/validation/confirmation from block 1 through block 850,000, with full indexing (including transactions and all spends). Because there was a restart for configuration to trigger the confirmation stage, the confirmation run was cold, which added some extra cost. I'd say on the big machine our full run should be about 6 hours when the configuration is fully automated - before any further optimizations.
