BC in a full validation run (with checkpoints) passed the top checkpoint (block 295,000) at 1.2 hours. No block validation is required until the following block. At 2 hours almost at block 400,000 and reporting 10 hour to complete, still with very low resource utilization. It appears (at least up until this point), that the download is slow enough that adding validation to the unused CPU is of no consequence to total time.
