I just checked up on the Delving thread. I didn't realize there was an actual discussion going on there. I assume some of those folks are skimming posts here - which is great. I try to write up what's going on not only to get feedback but to help people understand what we are doing and how we are doing it. A node is a complex undertaking, and libbitcoin's a totally different architecture. So it's not at all surprising that most of the assumptions being made in that discussion are incorrect. I've avoided getting involved with it because there will be no end to the questions and discussion. I'll write the book after we ship :).
