On the left is the previous run and on the right is the completed next run, where the thread count of the confirmation pool has been increased to match the total competing thread count. The highlighted region below shows the same non-linear trend as the previous run, but much later/shorter. The area before it is starting to drift, but still nearly constant, and the area after it is constant and no longer competing with (out-of-window) download and/or validation.
