Here we achieve linearity at a 10% cost in total time. Archive remains very consistent within each chunk because it has no ordering constraint. Validation is also very consistent as it is partially ordered, such that all previous blocks must be archived before a block is queued for validation. Finally confirmability is least consistent, as it is totally ordered by block, as each previous block must be confirmed before the next is started. This last constraint causes delays (vertical on the green line) while waiting for a given block in order to be downloaded and/or validated. This is most obvious in the middle of chunks 450k and 500k.
