Assuming BN also achieves a 1hour time on Linux (as it should), it has a 10x advantage over BN (BC is more optimal on Linux due to BC mingw and other Windows issues). The BN maxi full (and non-) validation advantage is presumably also less on Linux than Win/Mac, but should still be significant (estimating 5.6 to 17.1 hours, just need to do a BC full validation Linux run). Once the two major optimizations are added to BN these ratios will certainly change in BN's favor. I think it's safe to say at this point that we will have a full validation disadvantage on low RAM machines, potentially as much as 30% on the mini (increasing with lower RAM), and a 10x advantage in milestone sync on the mini (15x on Windows). As RAM increases that 30% full validation disadvantage reverses to a 4x advantage at current bandwidth, and will keep increasing with hardware. And of course BN will retain a significant and growing advantage in milestone sync as RAM/CPU/bandwidth increase.
