Here's the mini, at 55% completion by tx count. Almost 10 hours and slowing, so tracking about the same as previous runs. Constant max SSD read rate from validation with insufficient RAM to prevent page swapping from being the bottleneck. At this point I don't think that will change, so I'm going to look for a sufficient RAM target for linear mini validation.

i see that in your next message you said 15 hours with full validation in BC, will libbitcoin exceed that?

The mini has never beat Core on full validation. Download and validate is faster, at 7.8 hours, but confirmation puts it into thrashing.

The maxi beats Core easily at 4.5 hours vs. 24.

And both are under an hour for milestone.

Core validation on the mini is about 15 hours.

Hmm ok cool. Curious what the lower bound is to avoid thrashing! If it's 64GB or 128 that's still a lot better than 256 haha
