I hinted the other day that I have another idea. For the first time however this one does not require searching the list of points either upon creation (concurrent-by-download duplicate detection, requiring locks), validation (lock-free concurrent-by-block duplicate checks, which is fast on the maxi), or confirmation (sequential lock-free concurrent within block duplicate checks, also pretty good on the maxi). It also does not require building an accumulator of utxo state (utreexo), which is ultimately sequential by block (slow), increasing in size, costly to compute, and unnecessarily complex for the objective.
