Mini was slower than I'd expect given the search rate is much lower than I simulated, but the head size was increased by double what I simulated (+8 vs. +4GiB). This means a 24GiB total head size, which is clearly too big for the 32GiB machine, since the heads are almost always memory resident. So To easily get it down I dropped a bit from the point table buckets, which cue the entire table down to its original size (+0) at the cost of doubling the load factor. But because the LF only affects search, and our search rate is so low, it seemed like a good test.
Comparing it to the 1/1000 and +4GiB head search simulation, it's beating it, and that's a 51 minute total run - about as good as it gets without changing to an open window. Passing 500k it's a minute ahead of the benchmark and searching at 0.0083% (vs. 0.0013% at half the LF).
