Note that all hashmaps require body paging to resolve conflicts and read elements. The sieve is only beneficial in preventing such paging when the element does not actually exist in the table. If it is in the table (or might be - this is the false positives), there is no benefit and actually a pretty significant cost in terms of the increased head size.
