Turns out the test failures were me chasing a ghost for 24 hours. They only reproduce on one machine, and when I roll back any amount of time they are still there. And I had compiler failures in the same area. Something broke on that machine, no bugs in the code. updated intel with full vectorization coverage, and full neon vectorization coverage. intel sha256 has been good for a long time, next I'll finish up with neon sha256 and then start testing the taproot impl.
