bind properties will apply to outbound and manual connections and eventually allow internal multihomed load balancing. connections will apply to manual as a way to optionally select a subset of listed peers. secure is transport layer security for the endpoint. That's not currently implemented and is presently a placeholder. Given that we may want to enable secure and non-secure endpoints for each of the above services concurrently, that my just result in a distinct section name for each (e.g. [web/s] and [web]).
