boost::asio::ssl. We don't even reference it anywhere in the code. And dependent libraries pick it up as well. However it can be configured in the vc++ (visual studio) UI and via the install.sh to exclude the internal linkage, allowing a developer to simply link any openssl compatible library (including an external wolfssl). The internal ssl is fully configured and tested, but by linking it externally full control is handed over. This solves the non-trivial problem of making ssl easy as well as flexible.
