The embed of the wolfssl dependency is optional, as it can alternatively be satisficed with any openssl compatible dependency. We only access it via boost. The total amount of non-config code to implement all of the above TLS features is about 22 lines of code in the socket and 3 lines in the proxy wrapper. We are supporting 5 services with it (web, rest, bitcoind jsonrpc/rest, electrum, stratum-v1), each with independent config. The total to support the implementation is about 50 lines of config code. Adding test modifications and explicit comprehensive tests harnesses for wolfssl, the full implementation across the stack is about 100 lines.
