@gladstein Stealth payments, based on the same principle, existed over 10 years ago. IIRC it was proposed by a @peterktodd. It was integrated into Dark Wallet by @lunardragon420 and indexed by Libbitcoin Server. There was a proposed BIP that was never completed due to lack of adoption.
