The maxi validation record to 950k has already been broken by the linux build (same hardware/network), at 4.86 hrs (vs. the previous windows run of 5.0 hrs above). The only change in the code is the above addition of virtual keywords to all public/protected methods in the script machine. So it's safe to say that wasn't a performance hit, and that code has been merged.
