So for milestone on the maxi, 900k had been hovering around 1hr for a long time. For some reason I don't have a run to 950k before the optimization. But the two runs after the optimization came in at 56.2 mins and 62.3 mins. The best time to 900k without the optimization was 51.9 mins and the worst was 63.7 mins. So this change alone have given us 50,000 blocks for free at the higher end.
