@eynhaender is still crunching the numbers for his maxi, mini and pi, for both milestone and full validation, and with bitcoind comparables, on linux from my fast WAN (at 1Gbps and 2.5 Gbps). I won't steal his thunder in terms of the comparisons, and he's got some nice plots coming. But all are essentially network limited in milestone runs. The optimization was not enough to prevent non-linearity during full validation on the Pi or the mini, but the numbers are certainly improved. On the linux maxi the run was slightly better than Windows, but well within expected variance.
